Outings:
From time to time throughout the year outings or day trips are
organised for Belmont House Residents to scenic locations such as
Glendalough, The Meeting of the Waters at Avoca, Bray Promenade.
There are shopping trips to Cornelscourt or Stillorgan Shoping Centres
as well as fun trips to the bowling alley and other such venues.
All of these trips are centred on the fulfilment of the needs of the
individual whilst maintaining and enhancing their quality of daily
living. These trips are well staffed with a huge emphasis on fun and
usually involve a stop off for light refreshments.
Garden Party:
Every year on a ‘sunny’ Sunday in mid summer Belmont House hosts a Garden Party. Music and entertainment is provided by Pat Elgard and his six piece jazz band as well as guest singers from the audience.
Ample food, wine and refreshments are laid on, for as we all know singing can be a thirsty pursuit. Residents are encouraged to invite family and friends along to this fun afternoon.
Xmas Party:
Christmas is a very special time of year, especially for our residents at Belmont House. At this time of year we host a Christmas Party and encourage our residents to invite and entertain their family and friends as they would have done at home. Music and entertainment is provided with Christmas Carols and old seasonal favourites along with plenty of
food, wine and refreshments. The Christmas Party is one of the highlights of the year at Belmont House with the dining and sitting rooms packed to the rafters and brimming with seasonal merriment.
